Open Gardens - 20th June 2010
This year sees the return of the ever popular Open Gardens. We have lined up some of the top gardens in and around Great Waltham and Howe Street and hope you will be able to spend some time enjoying them. Programmes will be available from outside the Beehive on the day, which will include a map and information on each garden.

2011-2012 Calendar Competition
Building on the success of the 2010 Calendar this year the GWCN are giving you the chance to have one of your photo’s included in the 2011-2012 Calendar.
All you have to do is pick your best shot of Great Waltham or the surrounding area and enter it in the competition that will be running at the Horticultural Show this year. Anyone can enter so get snapping!

Great Waltham Royal British Legion
The Great Waltham Royal British Legion can be found virtually opposite the village war memorial. As well as arranging the annual Remembrance Day Parade it runs a full range of events throughout the year, including live music, quiz nights and live shows.
The club has a comfortable bar and a function hall where live sports events are often screened. Keep an eye out for the chalkboards as you go past to see what’s going on this weekend.
